Roz Bekker

Roz is Managing Director for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine UK & Ireland.

Roz is leading the region’s business strategy, with the aim to improve healthcare and ensure timely access to innovative treatments for patients.

Prior to this role, Roz was Vice President Commercial Strategy Infectious Diseases and Vaccines for EMEA, playing a vital role in J&J’s Covid Vaccine pandemic deployment.  Roz has nearly 20 years’ experience through varying roles at J&J and has held positions across medical and commercial, including as Medical Director and Business Unit Director.  She has worked in both advanced and emerging markets at a local and regional level for the Company.

Roz is passionate about diversity and inclusion, leading and sponsoring diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives across the organisation and is a Healthcare Businesswomen’s EMEA Advisory Board member.

Prior to joining J&J, Roz worked as a clinician in rural South Africa.
